Facebook, currently the most addicting and captivating social networking site in the country. This site doesn't only limit a user to adding friends, making comments, chatting and blah blah blah. This site also offers thousands of games for users to enjoy. My top 5 picks for Facebook applications would be:

1. Farmville - a flash game where you would grow your own farm. Patience and time-keeping are the keys for success in this game.

2. Mafia Wars - A gang that is set to conquer New York and Cuba. This game allows you to invite people to join your family (mafia) and start battling against other mafia.

3. Friends For Sale - Do I need to elaborate further? Haha. You buy friends. You get bought. Your value increases.

4. Typing Maniac - Practice your typing skills and compare your scores to your friends.

5. Know-it-all Trivia game - Flash game where you answer questions from different categories. This is a fun game to kill time. And it also teaches the player many many other informations.

New Laptop

Wohoo.. two weeks ago, my laptop got stolen inside my dorm. Funny right? Well, I can do nothing about it anymore because I don't even know who did it. I can't even barely remember his face (well, I saw him once). The sad thing is, all my files were also taken. This wouldn't be a bad thing if and only if I don't have my Machine Codes on my laptop. As a computer science major, I rely greatly on my sample codes. But since it was stolen, I was lost and didn't know what to do. So I made a possible way for me to acquire a new laptop. My first plan was to buy a notebook laptop worth 20,000php. But here comes my superhero. A friend of mine, Erwin Ang, offered me his spare laptop for only 10,000php. It is a NEO notebook with fair specs. It is definitely not the best, but hey! It is good enough for a laptop worth 10,000php. Now, my only problem would be to recreate the sample codes that I lost.

I have another problem though, my parents doesn't know that I bought a new laptop. And they promised me that we would buy a new laptop next month (Yipee!). Now, what would I do to the laptop I bought? Anyone interested on buying it? Haha...

Poverty or pressure?

Yesterday, when on my way to a cafe nearby.. three young ladies approached me. We started a conversation, introduced ourselves, etc. etc.. After a few minutes, they invited me to eat on a nearby fast-food chain . Well, I would want to.. but honestly, I don't have the time since I have a class to attend to. So I had to turn down the offer. But before we parted ways, they gave me their cell numbers and I gave mine. Now, they keep on bugging me. It seems to me that they are trying to offer me their bodies. At a very young age (15-17 approx.), they are already biting the bait of poverty. Or maybe it's just peer pressure that is pushing them to their limits. Whatever the reason is.. I hope that someday, they realize that what they are doing is not right. And if they are doing it because of poverty, I am sure there are alternatives. And I wish they would find that alternative soon.

Change

Change finally hits me. I realized that I wanted to start blogging. And I hope that I could keep this up. I welcome myself to blogspot. =)
